About 15 boat-minutes south of Manjack Cay, and immediately north of Green Turtle Cay, deserted and virtually untouched Fiddle Cay offers three or four quiet and secluded coves which face the Sea of Abaco.
As the first deserted island north of Green Turtle, about 10 boat-minutes from the entrances to Green Turtle's White Sound, Black Sound or Settlement Creek, you'll find a group of untouched coves ranging in size from "two person" to "it's a beach party" in size. The Atlantic side of Fiddle has many rock and ironshore, and is not a particularly good place to visit. Due to Fiddle's dense bush, walking across this tiny cay to the Atlantic is quite difficult. Shelling is usually fairly good and starfish are usually abundant.
Due to its proximity to Green Turtle, Fiddle can be a little crowded on a summer weekend [as many as three or four other beachcombers on the cay at one time!]. Since more than a baker's dozen of coves lay just to the north of Green Turtle, only on very rare occasions will a "cove searching" boater decide to join you on your "private beach" ... usually 100's of yards away!
