WEBMASTER NOTE:
If you've clicked
onto this page, you're probably here to find out if there are
any travel, reference, history or guide books and novels on The
Abaco Islands (such as "Wind From The Carolinas"),
the Bahama's Out Islands (or "Family Islands" as they're
sometimes called), or some other Out Island or Bahamian subject.
You've come to
the right place ... with the help of amazon.com and a bunch of
other RELIABLE information resources, we've collected just about
every book, publication or newspaper that has been published
about "our islands" (please CLICK HERE for a partial listing) and tried to make it
as easy as possible for you to get your hands on whatever interests
you most. If
you have suggestions
for adding a publication or "information resource"
to this page, please
let us know.
If you choose to buy a book or two from AMAZON.COM,
Go-Abacos receives a 5 percent "commission" on everything
you buy ... which goes DIRECTLY toward maintaining and updating
the NON-commercial content of
this site. In other words, it takes a LOT of time and more than
a few NON-sponsor dollars to create and operate a site whose
content is less than 20 percent "commercial information"
... and more than 80 percent NON-commercial, NON-sponsored, local
knowledge content. Every dollar helps!
AMAZON.COM SEARCH TIPS:
You might want
to start out with ONE OF THE NAMED PUBLICATIONS FROM OUR LIST PAGE, or try the search word(s)"BAHAMAS",
"BAHAMAS ISLANDS", "BAHAMAS OUT ISLANDS",
"BAHAMAS FAMILY ISLANDS" or something generally similar
as your initial
keyword search terms in Amazon.com, and then narrow the selection
from the "search findings" list that's initially presented
by Amazon. You can also order from a relatively comprehensive
selection of OUT ISLANDS info, history and cruising publications
directly from Steve Dodge's White Sound Press.
